I was lucky enough to spend part of last week on a trip to visit one of our sister midwifery schools, Birthwise Midwifery School in Bridgton, Maine. I got to assist with their skills assessment, get an inside look at how they perform them and even attend their graduation ceremony. It was such a lovely experience and I enjoyed meeting the students and faculty at their school!
Don't forget, Monday afternoons (1-3 pm Mountain time) are Clinical Office Hours and you can access us via your Canvas chat window for your CLNC 100.1 class, OR call us on the phone! Also, July 4 and 25 are holidays when the school is closed, so on those weeks, office hours will be pushed to Tuesdays (July 5 and 26) at the same time. Just keep that in mind!
I am looking at scheduling clinical rounds and live sessions for the rest of the summer. So if you would like to have a session on Preparing for Primary Births, Starting Your Clinical Placement or Applying for the NARM exam, let us know and we'll get it scheduled. If you'd like to present at Clinical Rounds, send me the topic of your case and we'll get it on the calendar.
